In this section, Loders Croklaan Europe share with you how we are facing the challenges connected with being a socially responsible company. Good relations with the workforce, local community, suppliers, customers and government are vital for the long term sustainability of our business.

One example of the efforts of our mother company IOI in the area of education was highlighted recently by Borneo Child Aid Society (Humana). Human is a non- governmental organization that is focused on providing education in Borneo to the children of visiting workers on plantations. Humana has thus far developed 60 schools to provide primary education to children. IOI has supported the development of 20 of the education centers in and around IOI’s estates.
