Loders Croklaan shares the goal of developing a sustainable palm industry that respects the environment and maintains its surrounding habitat. The company is very active in the RSPO. In 2003, Loders Croklaan’s parent company, IOI Corporation, co-founded the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) and today, we are represented on the Executive Board.

The RSPO is a global multi-stakeholder initiative toward the production of sustainable palm oil. The RSPO comprises governments, palm growers, palm oil users and NGOs such as the World Wildlife Fund, and they come together to develop the guidelines for ethical and sustainable practices for the production of palm oil.

In fact, both IOI and Loders Croklaan have already implemented RSPO guidelines and are committed to a program of continuous improvement.
